Query Guidelines 

Eames Literary Services seeks adult and young adult fiction that sparks the imagination, illuminates some angle of truth about the human condition, causes the reader to view the world with fresh eyes, and supports a Christian perspective on life in all its complexities. Stories might be redemptive, or tragic. Characters might be noble, or flawed. Situations might be humorous, or dark. And many manuscripts might contain some combination of all of the above.

We also seek adult and young adult non-fiction that is anecdotal as well as instructional, utilizes a “show, don’t tell” philosophy of writing, and offers a unique and biblically sound perspective on a given topic. If the submission is a non-fiction narrative (e.g., memoir), the work should follow most of the same recommendations for a work of fiction, as listed above.

All letters of enquiry may be emailed, along with a book proposal; author bio (including publishing history); plot synopsis or chapter summary; and 2-3 chapters of sample content (attached as a Microsoft Word document).
